Development Process

To begin the development process, our in-depth consultation with you would include some or all of the following stages:

Initial meeting with key stakeholders

  • What are the desired outcomes for the project?
  • What is the scope of the project?
  • What potential outcomes would you like see occur?
  • What are the budget constraints?

Scoping

The development process begins with in-depth consultation with you and any relevant parties. The degree of customising to be carried out and the amount of elements involved determine the amount of time to undertake the development. It can take anywhere from a few days up to several weeks or months, depending upon the size of the project.

Proposal

At this stage we would submit a proposal, which would in essence be a documented summary of the key discussion points, recommended solutions and potential investment. Any proposal would act as a discussion document from which an agreed plan of action would be determined.

Confirmation & Sign-Off

Development of the Site or Application

The development would be undertaken by either one or several of our software engineer team based in Christchurch, depending upon the scope of the project and the agreed delivery timeframe. The engineers would work to develop the project to match the outlined specifications determined in the scoping exercise.

Testing and Feedback

Once a site or application is ready for testing, a test site will be setup on the NV Interactive servers with access only available by the client. The client now has the ability to see exactly how a site or application will perform live and determine any areas which require further development or enhancement. Once the client is satisfied, the site or application can go live onto the internet or the client environment as required.
